Dr Wendy Booth, the managing director of TEEMA, has worked in higher education and the third sector since 2012. The decision to set up TEEMA is based on the outcomes of her research into citizenship education in secondary schools. An additional aim of TEEMA is to conduct and advise on research that will have a positive impact on local communities and the organisations that serve them.
Our mission is to provide thought provoking educational training and to promote research that has an impact on practice. We aim to support schools and other organisations in advocating critical thinking and self-awareness, which is particularly important in the context of the Black Lives Matter movement. We need to promote understanding for our communities to thrive and grow together.
T-TEEMA is run by fully qualified professionals in the field of education
We will devise training, workshops and research according to your specific needs
Our approach is culturally sensitive, and is inclusive of a range of perspectives
